Joses Courtroom
Menu Designs

Role: Menu Creation/Design

Client: Joses Courtroom

I had the privilege of spearheading the creative redesign of the menus for Jose's Courtroom. This included both the food and drink menus, as well as introducing an innovative addition - the 'Perro Plate' dog menu. With a focus on enhancing the dining experience for all patrons, I meticulously crafted each menu to reflect the restaurant's ethos while appealing to a diverse range of tastes. The introduction of the 'Perro Plate' was not merely intended to enhance the restaurant's pet-friendly ambiance; it was also a strategic initiative aimed at boosting foot traffic in the patio area, inviting and encouraging guests to enjoy dining alongside their furry companions. Through thoughtful menu development and strategic planning, I aimed to create an inclusive and unforgettable dining experience for all.

Deliverables:

Menus: Collaborated with the GM to develop the three menus  - food, drink, and the innovative 'Perro Plate' dog menu. Together we meticulously curated each menu item, considering factors such as customer preferences, seasonal ingredients, and market trends.

Resilience 
Impact Report
2020-2021

Role: Event Strategist, Content Creator, Copy Writer & Social Media Management

Client: San Diego Center for Children

I played a pivotal part in the creation of the San Diego Center for Children Impact Report, a comprehensive document aimed at showcasing our organization's achievements while bringing attention to the critical issues surrounding children and families grappling with mental health challenges. Working closely with the team, I contributed to every aspect of the report, from conceptualization to execution.

This included crafting engaging copy that effectively communicated our message, selecting and editing impactful photographs that resonated with our audience, and collaborating on the layout and design to ensure a visually compelling presentation. By leveraging my expertise in creative design and strategic communication, I endeavored to create a report that not only celebrated our successes but also served as a powerful tool for raising awareness and advocating for those in need within our community.

Deliverables:

2020 &2021 Impact Report: Created and designed the layout using Illustrator and ISSUU. Copywrote the copy and edited chosen photographs.

134th Anniversary Celebration - Cherishing the Joys of Childhood Reimagined

Role: Event Strategist, Content Creator, Copy Writer & Social Media Management

Client: San Diego Center for Children

The San Diego Center for Children's Anniversary Celebration is a fundraiser event that celebrates the success of the Center's youth and families. In only two months and under the stresses of the Pandemic, our team drafted and executed a virtual live stream event marketing strategy. I provided editorial direction and assisted in the coordination of pre-recorded video content, wrote compelling copy, and designed creative content for our social media campaign. In addition to creatives, I also managed the event management software and provided analytics and reporting for the fundraiser's success. Over $165,000 was raised to help support programs and services countywide.

Deliverables:

Landing Page: Created a customized landing page using OneCause to be the event's central destination for viewing and donating during the live event. Messaging and graphics on the event page matched the campaign’s style and tone.

 

Video Production: Assisted in pre-production and production phases by mapping out video strategy, creating video script, providing digital assets, conducting interviews, and staging set.

Social Media: Crafted 8-week paid social media campaign on Facebook and Instagram using graphics and short videos to build awareness and excitement for the event. These posts were accompanied by links to the custom landing page where event prospects could learn more about giving opportunities.

Role: Content Creator, Copy Writer & Social Media Management

Client: San Diego Center for Children

Although the Pandemic made it difficult for volunteers to get involved at the Center, they were not discouraged! I developed the Help From Home Campaign, where SDCC’s community could continue to support the Center as virtual volunteers. During this campaign, volunteers were encouraged to host community drives to collect; PPE, food for families in need, and raise meals for essential staff. I crafted the content strategy, wrote copy, designed graphics, and managed their social media accounts and website. As a result, over 12,000 PPE items were donated, and over $2,000 was raised for meals for on-staff.

Deliverables:

Landing PageCreated a customized landing page using WordPress to serve as the campaign's central destination for ways in which virtual volunteers could contribute. Messaging and graphics used on the landing page matched the style and tone of the campaign. 

Social Media: Created and executed a 6-week social media campaign on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn using engaging messaging and graphics describing the need as a first touchpoint, then creating graphics using images of donations received to drive prospects to the campaign landing page.

iCUBE Label Series - Inkjet Printing Technology

Role: Content Strategy & Execution

Client: Memjet Technology

In efforts to increase brand awareness for a corporate equipment partner at a popular industry trade show, Domotex USA, my team and I created and executed a paid social campaign with the goal of educating label manufacturers in the carpet and textile industry. I collaborated with the Corporate Content Writer to publish an informative press release and I created unique parameters and messaging for the paid social campaign using LinkedIn Groups. As a direct result of our efforts, the campaign received a reach of 10,439 and secured strategic meetings at the tradeshow.

Deliverables:

Press Release: Collaborated with the Corporate Content Writer to publish an informative press release, announcing the distribution of new printers in the US and educating readers on the carpet and textile market growth.

Social Media: Created unique and engaging messaging to capture increased brand awareness for the corporate equipment partner using LinkedIn groups to hyper-target and audience of label manufacturers in the carpet and textile industry.
